Sarah’s work embodies a balancing act: hard materials give rise to soft forms; organic bodies echo sharp and angular shapes. Dissolving borders defines her practice, between masculine and feminine, hard and soft, known and speculative, resilience and sensitivity, digital landscapes meet tangible materials, technical precision and humanity.

Her role in bridging gaps reflects her journey across cultures, languages, and identities. Born in São Paulo, Brasil and brought to the U.S. as a child, she navigates the contours of unfamiliarity, existing within the contexts while being entirely outside of it. Her work reflects this quiet tension of layered realms, exploring connection and the convergence of seemingly distant worlds, offering a perspective that is both grounded and expansive.
